I’ve been doing too much strange research with this series of books. It’s making me see things that aren’t there. 
For example, while walking through a pottery store, I noticed these interesting torture devices against the wall and thought they were just a little too slim to fit a man into, unless it’s Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones.
Eh, then I realized they were bird cages.
